December 1961.
Following a visit from Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson American, increasing numbers of American troops are being stationed in the country. Despite not officially being at war the USA are currently working on covert ops focusing on key strategic points along the frontier.
The village of Ap Bac looked like any other, however operatives of the US and of the communist Viet Cong were known to have infiltrated the ordinary people. It was not known how many agents existed.
Both the Viet Cong and the US were both unsure as to the identities of the others spies. The only way to make sure they could control the town was to kill every one not affiliated with themselves.
During the night, both factions moved quick. There was one who stood out. A ladyboy by the name of Chế độ Sói never seemed to fit in with the rest of the peasant farmers. She was obviously a spy. As she ate that evening, the food was disgusting. As her chest got tighter she realised she had been poisoned by the VC guerillas, panic set in but it was short lived, struggling to the door in an attempt to get help, a loud shot rang out.
The noise brought the attention of the village. Surveying the scene they realised they would not be innocent bystanders in the bloodshed. They would need to root out the outsiders if they had any chance of out living the war.
Amongst the crowd, one man's eyes lit up. This was his chance. He would make them all pay.
It is now daytime. 2 votes each. Top two will not die.
